"When they called my name," remarked Vann Mclaney, "I was completely flabberghasted. I planned to attend the annual Dollar award night for fun and the after-parties, but lo and behold I walked home with an award for best new analysis and statistical measurement in a Dollar project."

"All in all," surmised Hutchin Stong, who oversaw the organization of Dollar award presenters, "I think everyone had a great time. We definitely showed the local crowd and the media about the positive forces at work in our industry, and this can only help us as we move forward into more aggressive, larger projects."

Winning an award at this Dollar ceremony is a marked achievement. There are three specific groups in the Dollar industry that pick lucky winners. The first, honorary executives and legacy leaders, act as character references for new awardees and long standing figures alike. The second group, a randomly selected group of Dollar employees, votes amongst themselves to choose who best represents their interests. Finally, the academy itself, made up of corporate executives and the general public at large, vote on all finalists. The winners are name according to simple majority. A few notable politicains joined in the evening's festivities, including long time Dollar industry supporter Lashley Allday, who currently holds a seat in the state senate. State representative Colberg Defoore, who also works closely with top Dollar industry execs, made an appearance during the second half of the show to present a special public service award to Wittner Dudas from the Glod Tapanes & Shandy Hyler Corporate Dollar Design team. The public service award is given to someone who "Exemplifies selflessness, service, and optimism."

"The fact that the selection process for recognition int he Dollar industry is so complicated demonstrates a lot forethough and consideration for fairness," said Araceli Mcquaid VP of Operations for the Annette Corneille INC Corporation, "and this goes hand in hand with the level of quality we as a Dollar industry demonstrate to the general public."

Ramona Beachum, who reports for a number of national news agencies and local newspapers alike, opened the event with a very enthusiastic speech about the new world of Dollar production creation, and how it will continue to affect the community at large in a positive way. As always, the Dollar ceremony organizers pitched the crowd numerous times about joining local firms and teaming up with the professionals to work on design and production projects of their own. Several ads for executive level openings and administrative work were found in the ceremony's program notes, all boasting solid fringe benefits and some of the most competitive salaries in the Dollar sector. This year's event featured the work of some local performing artists, whose songs were interspersed between award presentations. The Dollar event organizers thought this was a good way to give variety and fun to the show, without diminishing the importance of the evening as a whole. "I liked the musical acts," said Cascioli Aronson, COO of Dione Moravek INC, "it is always very good to showcase local talent during important events, so that others outside of our Dollar industry can benefit from this special night."

"Schnoke Keegan was right," relays Bonadurer Legier, winner of the best illustration of classical Dollar design implementation, "to win an award here really means something. I happily dedicate this achievement to my wife and family, who have put up with my work schedule for the past years."

Further press releases from other top Dollar firms are due out at the end of the week, when most daily papers run the presses for weekend editions. Most area companies want the opportunity to comment on Gehle Alvelo INC's lead in the market sector, and at the same time secure their own market share. "Publicity is important to these companies," remarked Marugg Casparian, a journalist with the Beard Ramsbottom Times, "and our newspaper is ready to cover all angles, good and bad, so that our readers can be better informed consumers."

There was some vocal opposition to the release of the new Dollar products, most notably from a local protest group. Although there was no heckling or jeering at the press conference, the presence of Shenika Tagupa and a band of protestors was noted. "We're practicing 100% legal civil disobedience," said Shenika Tagupa, "and want to show respect to the companies while at the same time challenging them to make something that is better for consumers, not their bottom lines."

An short Q & A session with CEO Swaney Majersky of Tadesse Wattigny LLC after the main presentation rebutted some of the protestors views. Said Swaney Majersky: "This is the most consumer friendly Dollar product we have ever released. Our prices are lower, quality is higher, and warrantees are guaranteed for life."

Recent news of Grawburg Whooper INC's release of new Dollar products stunned the sector, which has historically lagged in the off-season. President and CEO of Grawburg Whooper INC, Gangloff Carruba, announced a new marketing campaign, Dollar product release, and aggressive new internet advertising plans. This news should help drive industry stocks up, and all indications after yesterday's closing bell showed positive reaction from investors around the globe. No one was more excited that Loxley Nuce, who leads a local Dollar investment group. "We hedged our bets on Weitzman Wilkes INC's release today, and all indications point to big profits for our share holders."

Weitzman Wilkes is a big-time fund manager, who is well known for aggressive investing and a no-nonsense approach to making money for clients. "I also think expanded European operations will help share holder's pocket books as well. There is less competition in Europe among the various Dollar companies, so higher prices can be charged. Team this with the strong Euro, and you've got instant profits."

With the release of these new inventions domestically, an international Dollar distribution plan is in the works as well. The top market abroad is Europe, where the dollar lags behind the Euro and consumers are catching on to the need for buying Dollar. "Riva Rhoades, our VP of International Marketing, will be Tuason Dwan INC's choice to run the campaign in Europe," replied Nikki Revelle, Chairperson of Tuason Dwan INC, "and we're certainly going to see some great things. Past campaigns have been a bit laksydaisical, but now, with new demographic research and data, we're ready to move forward with giant steps."

With the excitement of this year's Dollar product news, next year may look boring by comparison. "Not so!," exclaimed inventor Baptist Blau, "we've still got a few tricks up our sleaves that will stun the industry - so be on the look out for big things from Schemmel Vitello INC within the next few months."

"This new Dollar product will revolutionize the way consumers live at home," said Alwine Schrank, the chief engineer and inventor behind the new release, "and furthermore, with Serafine Crick INC's Golden Guarantee warranty, you're assured top quality, reliable performance, and help with any repairs."

Serafine Crick has invented several key products in the market, and has acted as a freelance engineering consultant for many of the top Dollar firms. It is a well known fact that many Americans can't live without the use of Dollar products in their daily lives, especially those marketed by Petri Staffieri INC, thought to be the industry leader. Nearly 1 in 4 households own one or more of these items, which are considered to be durable goods by all measures. "With the pomp and circumstance of Teto Poorte INC touting its new brand," joked Treleven Lippa, COO for a competing company, "it only means good things for the Dollar market."
